John Llewellyn Probert: Author of The Frightfest Guide to Mad Doctor Movies and a lot of other books and magazine articles, as well as a bunch of Blu-ray extras. Winner of the British Fantasy Award. HMC is a repository of my reviews of forthcoming UK Digital, Blu-ray and DVD releases. Inspired by Michael Weldon’s Psychotronic Encyclopaedia of Film, the House of Mortal Cinema contains whatever film and television I decide warrants inclusion. That tends to mean horror, science fiction, crime and the just plain weird, both classic and modern, depending on what the PR companies are willing to send me.
